If you choose to implement an optional software add-in reflecting the terms of your pension plan, it usually takes no more than a few weeks from decision to production. We can work with your internal resources, the plan administrator or your consultant to obtain the required information and facilitate implementation. We offer a variety of delivery platforms -- including desktop software, the Web and custom portals -- so your workforce can access their information on their terms.

Example of a Custom Add-in for a Defined Contribution Plan

Custom Add-ins

Below is an example of a typical add-in for a defined contribution pension plan. It consist of a Windows form that is accessed from within RetireWare as a part of the Step-by-Step Retirement Wizard, or on the 'Pensions' menu.

1. The first tab shows the employee and employer contribution rates. Note that for employer contributions the field is greyed. THis is because in this case, the employer contributions depend on how much the employee will contribute.

2. In the second tab, the employee enters his or her current fund balances, each of which is associated to an asset class on a drop-down list. These fields can be edited to add new funds.

3. The third tab displays a pie chart showing the asset allocation of these investments.

How Does the Pension Add-in Work?

RetireWare breaks traditional boundaries enabling a true flow of information across boundaries that seemed unbreakable until recently. A customized add-in reflects the specifics of a pension plan and is kept in an electronic pension library that can be accessed by employees participating in the pension plan.

Integration also involves voluntarily exchange of financial information between individual users and financial advisor, where the advisor can use planning information developed by a user and perform an in-depth review, apply advanced features and probability analysis.
